The results of my Yahoo spam reports

Here are the results of my spam reports to Yahoo groups and and email I wrote about a few days back.

Previously, I’ve heard frequent complains about Yahoo not paying much attention to the loads of spam on its network. Honestly, I am starting to suspect that these comments come from those who had never bothered to report it, since my personal experience turned out to be very different. So far, I’ve received a response for every report I sent. Here is one of them:

Honestly, there isn’t much reason to “not disclose the action taken”, since it is pretty clear what it was anyway - now that the profile of the spam sender is redirecting to http://profiles.yahoo.com/us/error.html

But hey, as long as they deal with the nuisance, I have no complaints.
